The Louis Vuitton Hotel and other Designer Hotels

With the opening of Armani Hotel in Dubai and Diane Von Furstenburg’s collaboration with Claridge’s London this year, fashion house Louis Vuitton has decided to expand their hotel business too. They announced that they are launching two new hotel ventures in Oman and Egypt. The fashion label already owns hotel Cheval Blanc in France (pictured above).

The new hotels, listed under the Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton group (LVMH), are currently being built and are slated to open in 2012. The Maison Cheval Blanc in Oman is on the 11 square – kilometer island of Al Sodah and will include 32 private villas. The development in Egypt is on the private island of Amoun in Aswan and will include about 40 designer suites overlooking the Nile.
