Samsung Canada revealed their new laptop, the Series 9 Notebook, by throwing a stylish Mad Men style party at the Turf Lounge. Guests at the launch were treated to scotch and cigars, as they explored the new sleek and lightweight notebook. We got to try the Series 9 Notebook for ourselves and were blown away by how lightweight and thin the laptop was (less than an inch in height and under 3lbs)!
The design is sleek and simple, and includes a back lit keyboard and other well thought out features. We talked with a rep for Samsung who told us that the laptop is made of duralumin, a material twice the strength of aluminum but even lighter in weight. Other features of the laptop are Samsung’s SuperBright screen, which gives a bright screen even in direct sunlight, and the PowerPlus charging technology which makes the battery lifespan last up to three times longer than the typical notebook battery.
We are currently shopping for a new laptop for our site and with all the user-friendly features the Series 9 notebook provides, it just may become our new laptop of choice. It’s perfect for people on the go , whether your workspace is an office one day, a cafe the next, or a comfy couch at home.
