On Thursday October 14th, The Bay opened their luxury fashion space ‘The Room’ to top British designers with an invite only gala. The Bay, along with sponsor British Airways, flew in influential designers Charlotte Olympia Dellal, Giles Deacon, Mark Fast, Erdem Moralioglu, Jonathan Saunders, Marios Schwab and Nicholas Kirckwood. The designers were on hand for questions at the gala launch and a trunk show held the next day.
The space was transformed into a fashion gallery showcasing multiple installations and paid an atmospheric homage to the London lifestyle with a custom Beefeater Gin bar and a tribute to the iconic Savoy Hotel. Toronto’s elite came out in full force to the event, sipping champagne and mingling, with all guests worthy of a spot on a Best Dressed list.
