The Bay : Arcadian Court Unveiled

After a year of anticipation, one of Toronto’s most historic venue spaces is ready to party once again. Canadian department chain ‘The Bay’ has unveiled the newly renovated Arcadian Court, a gorgeous space above the Queen Street West retail location. Originally opened in 1929, a time when going to shop at ‘The Bay’ was an occasion you would dress in your best, the Arcadian Court is rooted deep in Toronto history. The venue hosted Toronto’s first Auto Show, The Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s first radio broadcast, and Sotherby’s first auction outside of Britain!

The Arcadian has also expanded to include the Arcadian Loft, which boasts breathtaking views and gorgeous crystal chandeliers. The loft space served as the backdrop for the recent Greta Constantine runway show as well as the Sharp Magazine launch party. Thinking of booking this place for your event? You better act fast.

“Already in high demand, Arcadian Court is fully booked for Saturday weddings for the next two years!” says Peter Oliver, of Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants. “With Arcadian, we are entering into an exciting new age in event services in Toronto.” Catering for the venues come from Oliver & Bonacini who’s skilled chefs have been creating dishes for some of the hottest venues in the world, including Canada’s own TIFF Bell Lightbox.
