Our Stay : The Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas

High-Tech on the High Seas

This is a strange category to talk about as part of an overall cruise ship review, especially on a fashion and lifestyle based blog, but impressive robotics play a major role as part of entertainment on the Quantum of the Seas.

First there is Two 70, a venue used throughout the day becomes a stunning visual presentation at night. Blending robotics and entertainers to create thrilling shows in Two70, robot arms move visuals as seamlessly as performers glide through the space. An extremely large video screen also be used to cover the window view of the venue, resulting in an extraordinary experience!

Another extremely unique feature to the Quantum is the Bionic Bar. Mixology meets technology with the first true robotic bar in the world. With laser precision, robotic arms work in perfect synchronization, assembling beverages designed and created by guests. Ordering is placed through your Smart band through hand held tablets throughout the bar. Waiting in a bar line is eliminated altogether.
