Denim denim denim here we come…………Some of my favorite 2015 spring denim trends are patchwork, slashed and boyfriend jeans. Recently added to this hot trend are denim accessories like handbags, heels and so much more. But I must say, I’m especially in awe with denim handbags! Ladies, which items do you see yourself rocking for spring?
This denim clutch and denim booties are bold statement pieces guaranteed to take your outfit to that next level. I also can’t wait to get myself a pair of patchwork jeans! I especially love the wash of this particular patchwork jean from ASOS and how it offers a combination of the distressed feel. I would definitely pair these jeans with either a short sleeve denim shirt or a long sleeve denim shirt.
The second look really commands that touch of sex appeal without going overboard. I love this Alloy Apparel block denim pencil skirt, which can effortlessly be paired with a simple white t-shirt. This skirt is offered in both a regular and tall length. With the third look, Alloy Apparel does it once again with this skinny denim jumper………..This jumper simply offers such amazing features that include a high rise with front button detailing and keyhole back. This jumpsuit is offered in both a 32 and 37 inseam.
I truly appreciate the fourth look from ASOS because not every women is comfortable with their midsection. These high waist slim mom jeans in mid wash blue with busted knees, can truly cater to all body types while remaining stylish!
The fifth and final look is from The Gap! This linen denim shirt dress really works for a casual day out and I adore the patch pockets at the chest and on-seam side pockets. This dress will make every women happy, as it’s offered in all size ranges that include petite, regular and tall! Two other styles also worth checking out are these New Look tall boyfriend jeans and these Gap destroyed authentic boyfriend jeans!
At highlybold.com we believe every women should look their best no matter their size. Either short or tall there is fashion love for all!
About the author My name is Shirley Chanel, I’m a 5’11” girl from Toronto, Canada. Highly Bold is a platform where tall women can unite, fashion lovers can express themselves, and most importantly a place for tall teenage girls to build the confidence needed to get through tough times. Growing up wasn’t the easiest thing, as it was hard for the kids in my neighborhood and school to accept me for being taller. Some of the comments used to describe tall girls were giraffe, overgrown freak and long-legged weirdo. Albeit all the challenges, I still loved my height and every bit of it! Essentially, I re-channeled the negative energy of others, and used it towards one of my greatest successes. I created highlybold.com to further this conversation; to provide tall women the opportunity to share resources to empower and mentor each other through fashion.
