Le Chateau March Style Challenge – Monochromatic

Another month of the LE CHATEAU style challenge is here and after Marc took over the February style challenge, it was time for Richard to take on the #LeStyleChallenge for March.

For this month we were tasked with picking an outfit that represented the monochromatic trend that is big this season and Richard decided to go for a classic black and white outfit. Think of this as our cool and casual take on 50 Shades of Grey. We chose one of our favourite buildings in Toronto, located inside the Brookfield Place building in front of the  1890s-era Merchants’ Bank building facade.

Starting with an amazing black cotton sweater jacket, which is perfect for the Spring weather we are finally getting in Toronto. Warm enough for the seasonal chill but light enough to layer and play around with. Pairing this with a grey and white striped fitted sweater a pair of classic black jeans, white sneakers and a grey hat and gloves. This monochromatic outfit can be dressed up with a quick switch of shoes and adding one of Le Chateau’s great button down shirts layered under the sweater!

Each month, we’ll be presenting our favourite outfits from Le Chateau as part of the Style Ambassadors program. Check back in April for our second exclusive look with Le Chateau.
