Juno Sole: 40 Years of Juno Awards

On Tuesday November 9th, Toronto Is Fashion was invited to The Bata Shoe Museum for the unveiling of their latest exhibit ‘JUNO Sole: Celebrating 40 Years of the Juno Awards.’ The evening was a great success with guests putting on their evening best, mingling and sipping on wine and champagne while listening to speeches from host Jully Black, founding chairman of the museum Mrs. Sonja Bata and President of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Science Melanie Berry. Also in attendance was iconic Canadian children entertainer Fred Penner, who was accompanied by his stylishly dressed daughters, and singer Hawksley Workman.

The new exhibit features shoes worn by previous Juno award winners such as Nickelback, Anne Murray, Avril Lavigne, Lights, Stereos and many more. It also features a brand new listening centre so you can hear the hit songs that won the Juno Awards. The exhibit runs until November 30th, 2011 and is a must see for music and shoe lovers alike!
