Essence makeup hosted an event recently at a private movie theater in Toronto’s historic Casa Loma. The event took guests on a fairy tale journey for the evening. Inside the castle was a long purple carpet leading to the movie theater which was playing the classic movie ‘Princess Bride’ alongside several other activities like a manicure station and photobooth.
The event, which included the hashtag #HappilyEverEssence, was an introduction to the beauty brand which is available in Canada through Shoppers Drug Mart. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Essence brand, their concept is simple : quality cosmetics at affordable prices.
Essence has created a line of cosmetics that range from mascrara, eye shadows, lipsticks, nail polishes and more for prices that range from $0.99 to $4.99. The brand also promises high quality products and they work with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the make up in not tested on animals and is cruelty free.
