American retailer Ann Taylor opened their first Canadian location in the Toronto Eaton Centre on October 5th, and the brand is planning a grand opening celebration this Saturday October 13th from 1-5 p.m. The event will be in partnership with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and will include a live DJ, refreshments, product giveaways, and a free limited edition tote with any purchase over $100. Plus ten percent of sales from the event will be donated to BCRF!

The new Ann Taylor store spans over 3,800 square feet, and offers a full range of women’s apparel and accessories, including bags, small leather goods and footwear. All apparel, accessories and footwear are designed under the direction of Lisa Axelson, the brand’s Head of Design.

The brand has been building a lot of buzz for their Canadian launch by having previews of their new collection, which has garnered a lot of positive reviews from a lot of media outlets and blogs. “We are thrilled with the positive response we have received in anticipation of the launch of Ann Taylor in Toronto.
