Luxury goods retailer Holt Renfrew hosted Sir Elton John and David Furnish for a public appearance at their Toronto Bloor St. location. The appearance was to promote the recent collaboration between the Canadian retailer and the famous couple to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation through the sales of exclusive scented candles designed exclusively for Holt Renfrew.
The scented candles are available in two scents – Jardin de Fleurs, a floral blend, and L’Orangerie, a citrus-based fragrance. Holt Renfrew’s goal is to raise $100,000 for the life-saving work of the Foundation through the sale of the limited-edition candle collection. The appearance drew a large crowd that included Bernadette Mora, The Westin Family, and Lisa Tant. Elton John also received applause for his passionate speech on a cause that has been dear to his heart for over 20 years.
