Fashion designers Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong certainly know how to host an event in style.
The designer duo behind Toronto-based womenswear label Greta Constantine, are known for their end-of-summer soirees. The event, which is an intimate gathering of Toronto’s fashion and media crowd, celebrated its sixth rendition with this year’s “La Piscine Party.” Held at the Annex residence of Michael Cooper and Krystal Koo, the showing served both as a reflection on the duo’s Parisian debut for the fall/winter 2015 season and a lead up to their next showing slated for early October.
Ebony mannequins, inspired by fashion illustrations and placed around the garden, were draped, tucked, pleated, and sculpted in black silk wool, microfiber, and lace from the Greta Constantine spring/summer 2016 collection.
