A new accessory store has opened up in Toronto’s historic Cabbagetown district, and it is a family run business. Pipler Accessories is the brainchild of well-known Toronto-based chef Léonie Lilla from the city’s popular Farmer’s Daughter Eatery and her wife Alice Clarkson, who has worked at within Holt Renfrew, Sears Canada and Danier Leather.
The new Pipler Accessories will only carry brands that fit within one of the brand’s four cornerstones: sustainable, handmade, local or charity-driven. When establishing Pipler Accessories, the founders wanted to put a large focus on was the store’s products and to tell customers the stories about the products and to fill the boutique with items that have true integrity, and the majority of the products carried are also gender neutral, allowing for an easy and open shopping experience.
Some of the brands carried by Pipler Accessories, include Fine & Dandy, Hen Jewellery, All in Eyewear , Rachel F, Nella Bella by Tarek, and The Common-Folk, May 28th, and Peau de Loup.
