Thomas Bálint is the namesake label of designer Michael Thomas Bálint. Founded in 2010, under the name Thomas, the company was restructured in 2013 to include the artist’s Hungarian heritage, adopting his Hungarian surname Bálint. Bálint studied sculpture and at the Ontario College of Art and Design. The Thomas Bálint line looks to the past, modernizing classic styles with innovative design techniques. With an approach deeply steeped in sculpture, Bálint looks to the past while creating new ideas. It is always in the finer details that such innovations are found, and itis his purpose to constantly explore new devices.
