World Pride Toronto will be kicking off the Green Space Festival with the Starry Night event this coming June 26th.
The Starry Night fundraiser will be hosted in Cawthra Square Park, 519 Church Street. More than 7,000 attendees are expected to arrive at the event as well as Toronto Mayoral candidates John Tory and Olivia Chow, and 50 local drag queens. Two performances are also slated from OUTtv’s RuPaul’s Drag Race season six drag queens – Bianca del Rio, Courtney Act, Adore Delano and Darienne Lake.
Toronto’s largest ever drag ball will have a private reception from 6:30 to 8:00 PM while the public party begins at 6PM and will last until midnight.
Starry Night is the official launch party of the Green Space Festival and is proudly in its seventh consecutive year. The festival itself raises funds to help the programs and services of The 519 – the heart of Toronto’s LGBT community.
